Our Team
Essential Event Management has a number of specialists who would be pleased to work with you. Each member of our team has significant experience in event management, allowing us to offer you an efficient, personalised and professional service.
Tracey Ryland – Head of Essential Event Management
Tracey has over 13 years event management experience in both the Christian and corporate sectors. She began her career in the events division of a major accountancy firm. After moving to the Christian sector, she joined Spring Harvest where she has been involved in a number of events, including working as Assistant Site Co-ordinator at the Main Event for 5 years. Tracey is responsible for the development and implementation of Essential Event Management.

Gill Hudson – Essential Recruitment Manager
Gill has been involved in the recruitment of volunteers since she joined Spring Harvest in 2000. She has headed up the Safer Recruitment function within the organisation for seven years, seeing it through a stage of significant growth and change. Gill currently acts as Account Manager for several clients and is responsible for ongoing development of our Essential Recruitment services. Gill attends regular professional briefings and is well informed on the latest legislation and best practice in this critical area.

Andy Hooper – Head of Logistics
Andy spent five years working for ICC Conferences and was directly involved in the development and growth of the business. He is currently involved in the technical delivery of Essential Event Management and particularly in the recording and duplication process at events.
Project Co-ordinators
We also have a team of dedicated Project Co-ordinators who see projects through from inception to delivery. With an eye for detail and excellent communication skills, they are key to the quality and efficiency that you will experience when working with Essential Event Management

Luke Martin
Luke has been involved in technical delivery at events for 8 years. In this role he specialised in managing the on site recording and duplication process and whilst leading teams of engineers, has also overseen the set up and maintenance of PA and AV systems. Luke now works full time for Essential Event Management co-ordinating various projects, particularly focussing on logistical planning.

Natalie Upton
Natalie has worked for Essential Event Management for three years co-ordinating the administration of numerous conferences and exhibitions for external clients. She has co-ordinated programme and speaking teams as well as managing on-site administration teams at numerous events, but specialises in exhibition planning, logistics and exhibitor liaison.

Sarah Baldock
Sarah joined the team during 2009, focusing on a major national conference in her first few months. Previously, Sarah had 3 years experience with Spring Harvest working closely with the recruitment department during and following the development of mySpringHarvest, their on-line volunteer recruitment system and in the administration of the Children’s and All-Age programme. Prior to this, she worked for a top 5 accountancy firm developing their marketing and corporate hospitality strategies.
