Aiming4Excellence
In 2007 we managed and developed this 48 hour residential conference for senior figures in Christian charities.  Our strong line up of speakers and targeted programme ensured that the conference sold out quickly and had an exceptionally high attendance record.  The conference was delivered by our team on behalf of Evangelical Alliance, ACEA, Anthony Collins Solicitors, Global Connections and Stewardship.

We are to continue aiding Aiming4Excellence in a follow up conference due to take place in 2010. 

Apprentice The Tour
We were ticketing agent for this tour, scheduled to take place in eight locations in autumn 2009.

Baptist Assembly
Over the last 5 years we have worked closely to aid the smooth running of the Baptist’s national conference. After supporting their work at the centenary conference in 2005 Essential Event Management has continued to providg recording, sales and supply of small AV systems.

In 2010 we will provide PA and AV into six venues and provide on site technical support.

BigChurchDayOut
Taking place at a stately home in West Sussex, TheBigChurchDayOut saw over 15,000 people attend a one day event.  We recruited 60 organisations into their Marketplace of which over 90% rated their experience of the exhibition as being good, very good or excellent.

In 2010, we have developed our relationship with the event and in addition to managing the Marketplace we are now sole ticket agent and volunteer recruiter.

Bjorn Again
We are sole online ticketing agent for the Bjorn Again gig set to take place at Wiston House on 29th May 2010.

Building A Prodigal Friendly Church
Working with Care For the Family we delivered a 48 hour residential conference for 1,000 delegates at Butlins in Minehead.   Our role covered all stages of planning and delivery, from initial programme planning, through marketing, speaker recruitment, logistical planning and on-site delivery.

Detling Summer Conference
Detling is a growing summer conference delivering a 6 day event with 3,000 delegates attending.

We have worked with Detling since 2000, initially providing a team to record their talks and duplicate the CDs on site.  We now provide recordings on a number of formats including DVD’s, CD’s and MP3’s.

In the nine years that we have been working with Detling our role has developed and we now provide full technical support for all seminar and small venues on site as well as recording all meetings.

Further to this we provide recruitment of exhibitors and management of all aspects of the exhibition, as well as providing Safer Recruitment services for their volunteers.  Through this work we have helped them in developing their polices and procedures in this area and over the next few months will work with them as they incorporate the new Vetting and Barring scheme.

In 2009 we ran the Detling bookshop and following the successful delivery have renewed our contract for 2010.

Elim National Conference
During 2006 and 2007 we provided logistical support and site management for the Elim National Conference.  Our role included all aspects of venue liaison, provision of site infrastructure, technical provision, customer service support and on-site management of the event.

Greenbelt
For over a decade Essential Event Management have been supporting Greenbelt in promoting UK Christian grass roots music. In recent years Essential Event Management has been working with Greenbelt to deliver the G music store and stage. Liaising with Greenbelt, record labels and artists, Essential Event Management put together a "one stop shop" with all the music the event has to offer. It is also a place for both UK Christian grass roots acts as well as those established in the industry to showcase their talents by either our house DJ or live performances.

Other roles undertaken on site include the managing of band signings and stock collection and storage.

Hope for Justice: The Stand
We recruited and managed over 60 exhibitors during an eight week lead time for this one day event in 2008, whilst dealing with the complexities of managing an exhibition at Birmingham NEC.

In 2010 we are ticket agent for the latest event taking place at Manchester Apollo.

Holy Trinity Brompton
We have recently taken on the Disclosure processing function for Holy Trinity Brompton and their associated organisations, Alpha International, Caring For Ex-Offenders, the Trust and St Paul’s Theological Centre.  As part of our contract we will be working with them to implement the new Vetting and Barring Scheme which will have a significant effect on their recruitment.

Keswick Convention
Working with the Keswick Convention for over 30 years we provide recordings for all the main and seminar sessions making them available for sale at the event.

Kingdom Faith
Working with Kingdom Faith for three years we provide a full recording, sales and distribution services at their summer Faith Camp.

King’s College Day Conferences
Taking place in 2008 and 2009 these one day conference were managed and developed by our team.  We delivered all aspects from programme planning to on site delivery and recording sales.

New Wine
With a working relationship of over 17 years we support New Wine Summer conferences over two sites. We aid their very busy seminar programme by delivering recording, sales and distribution of up to 140 sessions a week. Further to this we also provide technical support for the seminar venues.

We also work with New Wine throughout the year supporting the technical aspects at some of the smaller weekend and day events. We again supply recording, sales and distribution of session recordings, as well as supplying and managing the PA systems for seminar venues up to small band set ups.

Oasis: Faithworks
In 2007 we travelled to City Temple, Holborn, London. We provided recording, sales, and distribution for all seminars.

In 2010 we increased our involvement in their event by also providing the on-site book and resources shop.

Private Retirement Party
In February 2010 we organised a retirement party for the head of a large charity.  Our role involved overseeing all aspects of the event including venue sourcing, management of invitation process, technical delivery and hire of a well known band to provide entertainment.

RUN (Reaching the Unchurched Network)
In June 2008 we attended the RUN conference at Kingsgate church, Peterborough. This was a three day event where we provided recordings of all sessions and made them available for sale on site.  We also fulfilled all of the technical requirements in the seminar venues. Due to the tight set up times this was logistically challenging but having the right expertise on-site helped to ease the process and all expectations were met.

Salvation Army (ROOTS)
Since 2004, Essential Event Management has been involved in supplying recording and duplication facilities for sessions during the conference. We also have supplied PA systems and a sales stand, making the recorded teaching available for delegates to take home with them.

In 2010 Essential Event Management are continuing their relationship with Roots by supplying PA/AV systems, supplying recording and duplication facilities and a retail stand for the recorded teaching. As well as this we are also managing the bookshop and recruiting exhibitors and managing the exhibition.

Spring Harvest
This ia a national event which has been running for over 30 years. We are responsible for delivering the event in its entirety – everything from planning the programme to technical provision and management to on site delivery and sales.

We also recruit around 3,000 team members to two resorts. The system is managed by our online mySpringHarvest system which we have built in-house and allows team members to sign up electronically and provides referees with a low hassle approach to referencing.

Spring Harvest Skyline Exhibition
We recruit around 40 exhibitors to Skegness and around 45 to Minehead each year.  Our package of promotional opportunities offers exhibition space, on screen advertising and literature displays ensuring that there is something for organisations of all sizes and budgets.

Songwriters Consultation
Since it started 8 years ago Essential Event Management have administered the consultation, working with the Planning Group to organise the programme, liaising with speakers and delegates, booking the accommodation which also includes an online delegate booking system. It is a 2 day consultation programme for over 80 songwriters and publishers to attend for teaching, worship and networking.

Spring Harvest Holidays, Le Pas Opton
We are currently involved in implementing a full annual programme of events for adults, young  people and children at our holiday park in France. Roles include setting up of temporary venues, recruitment of speakers and volunteers and on site technical provision. As well as this we also deliver full guest management and customer service.

We annually take around 100 potential holiday park couriers through a recruitment process including application, referencing and CRB checks.  We also facilitate a Courier Interview Day consisting of team exercises, creative tasks, panel interviews and feedback sessions.

Tearfund Transform Team
We have provided a one stop Disclosure application process for Tearfund's ‘Transform’ overseas volunteers meaning Tearfund no longer have to train their staff to deliver this process and do not have to worry about ensuring their processes meet legal requirements.  We also offer advice and guidance on the policy documents that Tearfund need to have in place to use as part of the Disclosure process, the level of Disclosures that are appropriate

Transform Work UK
We have worked with Transform Work UK to deliver their first national conference - a one day conference, which attracted around 200 people.  We were responsible for all aspects of event management including venue sourcing and liaison, technical provision, on site registration, catering and health and safety planning.

Youthwork the conference
Aimed at youth workers, this conference has taken place each autumn since 2003.  The extensive programme regularly features over 50 speakers, main sessions, seminars, workshops, exhibition, networking times, worship and first class main venue production. 

In addition, we annually recruit around 35 ‘youthwork focussed’ exhibitors for a three day conference.
 
We deliver the conference in its entirety on behalf of a collaboration of six organisations.

You Are Chosen
This was a one day women’s conference based in the Bournemouth International Centre, attended by 2,500 people. We undertook the role of recording and duplicating on site, with our own stand set up to sell the media. This was one of our most demanding conferences to date with a high volume of sales. However, our level of technical provision and experienced team help to deliver all that was required.
